Villa Hiekkaranta was completed in 2018 and is furnished modernly to a high standard. There are four bedrooms having room for about 8 people (one downstairs and threeupstairs). Both floors have an own toilet. In downstairs the living room is spacious having a big sofa, 2 television (55 inches), an open-concept kitchen and a big dining table. Separate building is wood-heated sauna. Small cabin with 3 beds. 4G WiFi is included.
Villa Hiekkaranta is a fabulous place for example for a family holiday with children, get-together with friends, a birthday party or a relaxing weekend in natural landscape. There are plenty of activities available for every season. You can take a peaceful walk in the nature, go fishing, pick mushrooms and berries in Autumn, swim in a lake, enjoy sauna, have a barbecue on the terrace, and go skiing in Winter!

The customer’s assessment of Hiekkaranta: Cottage is excellent. Not for those looking for smoky romance, but if you want ease, cleanliness and an excellently equipped cabin, this is it. It doesn’t pale at all to the luxury cottages in Ruka or Levi. The sauna is comfortable and easy to heat. The baths are soft and pleasant. Access to the lake is excellent and safe thanks to the pier in good condition. Services are fairly close (approximately 10 km), and in Melkoniemi you can enjoy the peace of nature. Good fishing waters. The host is nice and answers questions quickly. All in all, from the point of view of a family with children, the cottage week went better than well.

RANTAKALLIO is our most popular luxury villa for 14 people, located in Melkoniemi, Parikkala, on the sunny east shore of Haapalahti in Simpelejärvi.
The villa’s specialty is a large outdoor jacuzzi, which is rare in Eastern Finland, where you can relax with your family or a group of friends in a warm jacuzzi in any weather.
In autumn and winter, the most popular is a weekend reservation, for birthdays, birthdays, small parties or family vacations. In the summer, from Midsummer to the beginning of school, we mainly rent weekly reservations, and Changeover Day is Friday.
The villa can accommodate 14 adults in five bedrooms and a roll-out bed in the hall. Up to 16 people with extra beds. There are two cots for children. All three floors have their own toilet. The big cabin can also accommodate a couple even just two, ask for the price.
The villa is modernly equipped. On the sofa in the living room, you can watch Netflix and other modern finesse on the 65-inch Android flat-screen TV, the JBL player guarantees music enjoyment, fast wireless broadband is naturally also part of the equipment. Even heat is guaranteed by an environmentally friendly geothermal heat pump and water-circulating floor heating on all floors
The kitchen has a Tulikivi fireplace bread oven, stove top, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave oven and versatile crockery. There is a gas grill and a saslik grill for grilling on the terrace. Municipal water is of excellent quality.
To top off your holiday evening, you can relax from the wood-burning sauna decks in the always warm large outdoor jacuzzi. Sit in the fireplace room at the end of the evening under the glow of the Tulikivi fireplace.
In winter, there is a slide for the children on the beach slope. With a sled and a leveler, we can make a track starting right from the beach of the cottage.
